Design
Looking at its design, you will find that the Fanmis military watch looks like a slightly more stylized version of your average digital watch. This is due in part to the compass located in the upper left corner. Its placement and spiderweb style design set it apart from other digital watches.
There are plenty of digital watches that have a compass, but this design is unique in itself. Beyond that it’s digital display is surrounded by an outer bezel that resembles the Casio G-Shock series of watches. The ridged rubber watch band also shares the similarity. This entire watch itself is black, while having blue writing and highlights around the bezel. I personally like the look of blue against the black watch, but they also have one with green writing and highlights.

This Fanmis military watch is water resistant up to a depth of 50 meters. In the same way it resembles G-Shock watches, this watch is also impact resistant.
It contains the typical features you would expect in a digital watch such as an alarm, a timer, a day and date display, and a stopwatch. Finally, it also contains a backlight. This backlight, however, is its most unique feature!
The backlight can be switched between 7 different colors. You don’t really see this feature in many digital watches. To some, this may not be a big deal, but I personally like being able to have different colored backlights. This feature alone distinguishes the Fanmis from its competitors.

As far as pricing goes, you really can’t go wrong here. This is a budget watch in the same vein as Smael watches. The Fanmis military watch is an absolute bargain! No doubt this is part of the appeal and what makes it so popular.
