Are Seakoss Watches Any Good?

One look at the name and it will probably become apparent that Seakoss watches is a mushroom brand. So yes it is a Chinese brand that no one has ever heard of that appears on many online markets. And true to form, these watches are indistinguishable from Sugess watches.

It would appear that both Sugess, and Seakoss are one in the same. You see the two different names in product listings online. They have different names, but they are essentially the same watch. Confusing I know. But are Seakoss watches any good?

Once again, there is sort of a stigma about cheap Chinese watches being of a lower quality. Seakoss watches, however, are not priced dirt cheap.

While many Chinese brand watches are inexpensive enough that there is very little risk in purchasing one, Seakoss watches, on the other hand, inhabit that mid level area of the pricing spectrum.

So now we have an unknown Chinese brand that is a bit pricey by comparison. This would certainly add to the apprehension that may come from purchasing a watch by such a brand.

This is why we have created this article. Our goal is to find out if Seakoss watches are any good. To do this we will thoroughly examine aspects of the build quality, designs, and pricing of this brand.

In the end, We should have a pretty good idea of whether or not Seakoss watches are worth a purchase.

Seakoss Watches Review

We’ll start things off by taking a look at the build quality of these watches.

Build Quality

Seakoss definitely brings a degree of quality when it comes to Chinese watch brands. The cases are made of 316L stainless steel, which is a higher grade than the average stainless steel found in most watches. They also have sapphire dial windows, which are more scratch resistant than mineral dial windows. The bands typically come in nylon or leather.

Seakoss watches utilize Sea Gull automatic movements to power themselves. And lastly, Seakoss watches do not offer much water resistance, with 50 meters being the highest level of water resistance they possess.

So overall, Seakoss watches have a fairly decent build. Next, we’ll look at the designs.

Design & Style

These are luxury styled watches that include homages to other famous watch brands. This type of styling is pretty typical in a lot of these Chinese brands.

And this is one area that Seakoss definitely excels in. The design and styling of their watches is top notch. They really hit the mark when it comes to luxury styling, and their homages are spot on when compared to the originals.

You will definitely be impressed by the quality look that these watches display. This is all good, because at the end of the day, these watches are mainly purchased for their looks anyway.

And that price is the last thing we will be discussing.

Pricing

We briefly mentioned the pricing a little bit earlier in this article. As previously stated, these watches are priced in the median price point. Some of their watches will be more expensive than others, but they never stray from their mid level pricing structure.

While these watches do not pose as significant an investment as say an entry level luxury watch, or a high end Swiss or luxury watch; they are going to be more expensive than your typical budget watch options. So this is something to keep in mind.

When it comes time to decide if you want one, you will need to make sure that they fit within your budget. But once again, these watches are not too terribly expensive.
