Lgxige Watches Review: A Worthy Luxury Style Brand?

Today’s brand review will be on Lgxige watches. You can already tell by the name that this is clearly a mushroom brand. But does this mean it is a low quality brand? Not at all! True enough, this is another one of those Chinese watch brands. Like many of them, Lgxige manufactures luxury styled watches as well as homages to the more expensive and well known brands.

But as with any brand, we have to carefully examine the actual product to find out if it is a quality product or not. Simply making assumptions about quality based on where it was manufactured, or even the brand name itself, is not good enough.

I will say, however, that this name is a poor choice as far as marketing goes. When you have a name like this, (which I’m not even sure how to pronounce), it adds unnecessary difficulties for consumers. For one, it is easy to get typos when looking up the brand. Second, it makes the brand seem a little tacky or unprofessional.

These little things can turn off consumers to what could otherwise be a quality product. And on that note, let’s find out if Lgxige watches are, in fact a quality product or not. In order to do this we will look at the general build quality, design, and pricing of these watches.

If they can strike all the right chords, then they have the makings of a good purchase. If not, then perhaps we need to look elsewhere for luxury styled watches.

Lgxige Watches Review

Build Quality

The very first point we are going to examine in these watches is the general build quality. Lgxige makes both automatic, and quartz watches. They have stainless steel cases. The bands in their watches most of the time will be stainless steel, leather, or plastic, all depending on the particular model.

Their dial windows can be either mineral or sapphire crystal. Once again, it varies by the model. Water resistance among their models varies from 30 to 100 meters, so the ones with lower water resistance should be kept out of the water, but the ones rated over 50 meters will be ok for swimming.

So as we can see, the build quality is somewhat typical of Chines brands. They do have sapphire dial windows on some of their models, which is a plus for sure.

Next, we’ll take a look at the designs on these watches.

Design & Style

Looking at these designs, they seem pretty familiar. As far as styles go, you have the homages, as stated earlier. They have watches that resemble popular watches from Rolex, Patek Philippe, and the like. Other than that, most of their styles are going to follow the typical luxury style formula that you tend to see in a lot of these Chinese brands.

The majority of them are able to pull off this look quite well. No brand is perfect though, so of course you have some that have kind of a cheaper look to them. For the most part though, these are pretty good looking watches at a more than fair price. And pricing, is the next thing we are going to talk about with these watches.

Pricing

The great thing about Chinese luxury styles is that they almost always come in at very affordable prices. Lgxige watches continues this trend. Their watches sell in the low and mid tier price range, meaning they are affordable for the most part.

While not the cheapest luxury styled watches you can get, they are fairly priced in comparison to other similar watches in this category. And while they are affordable, some of them can start to get a bit pricey when they hit the mid tier price margins. But even then, Lgxige watches are not going to break bank.

Here is an exceptonally flashy looking watch from Lgxige. It comes in multiple color options. This one is gold colored. It has crystals around the bezel that resemble diamonds. The dial uses Roman numeral markers.

This watch uses quartz movement and has an analog display. It features a date window as well as a day window. The interesting thing about the day window is that it shows name of the day in text through the window. That is a very unique touch.

The dial window is sapphire crystal. Finally, this watch is only water resistant 30 meters, so keep it away from water.

This is one of Lgxige’s diving styled watches. The watch itself is silver colored, but the bezel sports the two tone black and red colors. It also has a stylish exhibition case back showing off the watch movement.

This watch has an analog display and features automatic movement. The case and band are stainless steel, but its bezel is ceramic. The dial window is sapphire crystal. It also has a date window located at the 3 o’clock position.

Lgxige Watches: Final Thoughts

I would say that this is a pretty decent Chinese luxury styled brand overall. The watches have a decent build, are competitively priced, and have some nice looking styles. There is nothing really bad to say about this brand. Personally though, this wouldn’t be my choice.

While this brand is pretty good, I feel that it is overshadowed by other Chinese brands such as Pagani Design, and Parnis. Those are the brands I would go with, as they offer similar or better quality at the same or lower prices than Lgxige. But at the end of the day, you can choose whatever brand best suits your needs.
